How to Install a Wet-Room Floor Shower Tray Former


The following information is intended to provide an easy to understand pictorial guide to the steps needed to create a wet-room floor (to view larger images please click existing image). They are not intended to replace the full application instructions which must be read before installation is started.

Prepare sub-floor, install extra noggins.
 Prepare floor
Install waste support within joist space, fit flat floor area (24mm marine ply).  Install waste support
Fit supplied wet-floor waste into waste support and connect pipework.   Plumb in waste
Fit Shower Tray Former in accordance with application instructions and make good around edge of former if necessary.   Install OTL shower tray former
Fit Aquaproof tape, corners and sleeves in accordance with full application guidelines.
 Apply Aquaproof tape, corners and sleeves

Fully waterproof room with Aquaproof system, clamp Shower Outlet Sleeve into position with membrane clamping ring.

 Apply Aquaproof compound
Tile from waste outwards treating the tileset frame as your first tile.   Fit tileset and tile as normal
Place the Tileset into frame.
 The finished project. Thanks to bathroom matters.
